Mango Lassi

Here's how to make a delicious Манговый лассі (Mango Lassi) using yogurt, mango puree, and a touch of honey for sweetness. This creamy drink is refreshing and perfect for warm weather!

Mango Lassi Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt (preferably whole milk or Greek yogurt for creaminess)

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced (or use mango puree)

  • 1-2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 cup milk or water (adjust for desired consistency)

  • A pinch of cardamom powder (optional, for flavor)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled drink)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Mango
  1. Peel and Dice: If using a fresh mango, peel and cut it into small pieces. If using canned or frozen mango, ensure it’s thawed if frozen.

Step 2: Blend Ingredients
  1. Combine in Blender: In a blender, combine the yogurt, diced mango (or mango puree), honey, and milk (or water).

  2. Blend: Blend everything until smooth and creamy. You can add more milk or water if you prefer a thinner consistency.

Step 3: Adjust Sweetness and Flavor
  1. Taste and Adjust: Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired. If using, add a pinch of cardamom powder for extra flavor and blend again.

Step 4: Serve
  1. Pour and Garnish: Pour the mango lassi into glasses. If desired, add ice cubes for a chilled drink.

  2. Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing mango lassi!

Tips

  • Chilling: For an extra refreshing drink, chill the yogurt and diced mango in the refrigerator before blending.

  • Variations: You can mix it up by adding other fruits such as bananas or strawberries for different flavors.
